Meet The Coffee Coach

Nina's coffee journey began in September 2022, a pivotal moment that turned a setback into a remarkable adventure. After losing her job in real estate, she remembered the warmth of her favorite local coffee shop. Taking a leap of faith, she walked in to inquire about job openings, and thus her transformation began. 

For a year, Nina thrived as a full-time barista, immersing herself in the craft and culture of coffee. Driven by her passion, she then accepted a position as Sales Liaison at Chesapeake Coffee Roasters, where her role evolved, but one title always resonated with her—Coffee Coach.

In 2024, Nina achieved a significant milestone by earning her SCA Intermediate Barista Certificate at Trail Blaze Academy in North Carolina. Inspired by her experience, she took it a step further and created her own program, empowering others to discover the magic of coffee. Nina’s journey is a testament to resilience, passion, and the belief that sometimes, the best paths are those we never expected to take.
