• Slow Flow & Inconsistent Coffee

Your coffee tastes different depending on who’s working, and the second it gets busy, the bar starts to fall apart. We’ll fix the habits, setup and workflow that are slowing everyone down.

  • Bad Systems & Bar Habits

Recipes, cleaning and expectations are living in everyone’s head. Nobody closes the same way, openers are annoyed, and somehow the same problems keep happening every shift.

  • Training Gaps

One barista learned one way, someone else learned another, and now everyone’s doing their own version. We’ll get the team working from the same foundation and actually understanding the why behind what they’re doing.

  • Feeling Frustrated?

That means you know something needs to change. Better systems, better habits and better training make better coffee — and a much happier bar.

    Training that sticks

Barista Basics includes ongoing access to the Coffee Coach Barista Portal, so your team can revisit resources and refresh their knowledge after training is over.

  • Barista Basics- 4 Hour Hands On Training

A practical reset for new baristas, mixed-experience teams or cafés that need everyone working from the same playbook. We’ll cover equipment, brewing, espresso, milk, cleaning, workflow and the bar habits that keep service smooth and coffee consistent.

  • Dialed In- Espresso Dial In & Sensory Tasting

A deeper look at what’s actually happening in the cup. We’ll work on dialing espresso by taste, understanding extraction, building sensory confidence and learning how to describe what you’re tasting without making coffee sound more complicated than it needs to be.

Meet Your Coffee Coach

Hi, I'm Nina!

I was born in Scotland, somehow ended up in Maryland, and have spent a good chunk of my working life behind espresso machines, training teams and figuring out what makes a café actually work.

I really love coffee — but I don’t think it needs to be intimidating or overly complicated. I love teaching it even more. There’s something pretty great about watching a barista go from “I have no idea what I’m doing” to confidently dialing in a shot, steaming great milk and holding their own through a rush.

After some time away from the coffee world, I’m getting back to the part of it I missed most: the people, the teaching and really good coffee.

When I’m not behind a bar, there’s a pretty good chance I’m on a motorcycle, starting a new craft, or drinking more coffee.
